One of the greatest Crusader castles in the Levant, built in 1142 AD overlooking the Dead Sea.
Kerak Castle is a Crusader fortress in Karak Governorate, southern Jordan. Built by Pagan the Butler in 1142 AD, it is one of the largest Crusader castles in the Levant. The castle witnessed numerous battles, most notably Saladin's siege.
